Her work is rooted in integrative and functional medicine, blending evidence-based care with a holistic view of the body. She has advanced training in metabolic health, hormone balance, digestive wellness, ADHD, sexual health, and cognitive longevity, and incorporates trauma-informed care, somatic integration, craniosacral therapy, and support for those engaging in psychedelic-assisted therapy.

At the core of Lesa’s philosophy is the understanding that the nervous system plays a central role in regulating all other body systems. She believes that physical health, a sense of purpose, and happiness are deeply interconnected and mutually reinforcing. Her approach focuses on restoring alignment within the body, cultivating resilience, and supporting each patient’s innate capacity to heal.

Lesa partners closely with her patients, honoring their lived experience and individual goals rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. She practices with a strong commitment to inclusivity, embracing health at every size, body diversity, gender inclusivity, and a wide range of identities and relationship structures—creating a space where patients feel safe, seen, and empowered.

Functional & Integrative Primary Care

Primary care that honors the whole person—connecting physiology, environment, and lived experience to build long-term balance.

Explore the functional and integrative philosophy

Functional and integrative care looks beyond symptoms to understand root causes and the full context of your health. We explore how sleep, nutrition, stress, relationships, movement, environment, and life history shape your well-being, then build a plan that aligns with your goals and values.

An integrative and functional health approach can include conventional medications and treatments, herbal and nutritional remedies, as well as other complementary and alternative treatments.

Visits are collaborative and personalized, combining evidence-based primary care with lifestyle medicine, mind-body support, and thoughtful lab review when helpful. The aim is to strengthen resilience, prevent disease progression, and support long-term vitality—while honoring your lived experience and capacity for change.

Somatic Bodywork

Gentle, body-centered sessions that support regulation, stress relief, and a steadier sense of ease in the body, including craniosacral therapy as a calming, light-touch modality.

Discover somatic therapy and craniosacral care

Lesa incorporates somatic therapy to support nervous system regulation and whole-person healing. Emerging research suggests that body-based approaches can help individuals process stress and trauma by increasing awareness of physical sensations and restoring a sense of safety within the body. These therapies have been associated with reductions in anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms, along with improvements in emotional regulation, resilience, and overall well-being.

By working directly with the body—not just thoughts—somatic therapy helps shift patterns of chronic stress and supports more adaptive nervous system responses. In Lesa’s practice, it is used as a complementary approach to enhance both physical and mental health, and to strengthen the connection between body, mind, and a sense of purpose.

Craniosacral therapy is also offered within this somatic framework because of its potential to support nervous system balance—an essential foundation for overall health. Gentle, hands-on techniques may help shift the body out of chronic stress states and into a more regulated, parasympathetic state, supporting relaxation, pain reduction, and improved physiological function.

While the evidence base is still evolving, studies indicate potential benefits for chronic pain, functional limitations, and quality of life, particularly when used alongside conventional care. In practice, craniosacral therapy is a supportive tool—not a standalone treatment—to help patients reconnect with their bodies, improve nervous system resilience, and enhance the body’s innate capacity for healing.
